My Elementary Classroom Rules!
- Please have a sharpened pencil and crayons for each class. Grades 2-5 are required to have their notebook, workbook and/or book.
- Please raise your hand and wait until called upon before speaking.
- Please particpate and speak in Spanish. This is the best way to learn the language.
- Remember that singing and games are a big part of Spanish class, but when I am teaching you must be quiet and listen.
- Grades 2 & 3 should be prepared for assigned quizes by studying vocabulary at home.
- Grade 4 & 5 should be prepared for assigned quizes and homework by taking their book home and returning with it on Spanish day.
- Have fun and learn!
My Middle School Classroom Rules!
- Please have your Spanish book, notebook, pen or pencil for each class.
- Please raise your hand and wait until called upon before speaking.
- Please do not "copy and paste" for any research project assigned in class. Use your own words and ideas.
- Please do not use Internet translation sites for homework assignments. All needed vocabulary is located in the textbooks.
- Homework in Spanish class is almost always graded. Please be prepared to turn it in the very next Spanish class.
- Late homework will immediately begin losing points, however, due to the unique nature of the bi-weekly Spanish class, homework is always accepted (minus late points), even if it is after the due date.
- Participation in class is key to learning the language.
- Please be aware that a 'U' grade in Spanish class will keep you off the honor roll.
- Please speak with me directly with any questions and concerns. My goal is to teach you Spanish and it is one that I take very seriously.
- Have fun and speak Spanish!
