Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS)

Meeting Day: School day
Meeting Time: Computer and science classes
Location: Regional competition at California University;
state Competition at Penn State University

Cost:
Regional competition: $30 registration fee
State competition: $80 registration fee and hotel fees

Requirements: This is a required activity for 7th and 8th-grade students. Sixth-grade students are asked to volunteer as technicians at the regional competition.

Description: The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) is a statewide organization of junior and senior high school students and teachers designed to stimulate and promote interest in science through the development of research investigations.
